Meet the Authors

Gabe and Andrea Olson live in Minnesota with their three daughters, Sophia, Adeley, and Ayla. The Big God Books series is inspired by real-life moments with their girls and made for children worldwide just like them. Every story is written to preserve the family’s miracles and serve as a tool for other families to use in their homes. The Big God Books remind us that God is a miracle worker and makes talking about it more accessible.

Fun fact, G is just a nickname. My full name is Gilbert, after my grandpa Gilbert who also went by G! Grandpa G saw many miracles just like me!

Hello, I’m Eli, and I love my amazing wife, Anne! I also love talking about the miracles of God over Homemade pepperoni and mushroom pizza.

Joy


 Hi, my name is Joy, and I was adopted by my Mom and Dad when I was a baby! I love spending time with my family and seeing God show up in all of our lives. 

Anne


Hello, I’m Anne, and I am G’s mom. I used to be sick and not able to use my hands without them hurting, but God used a miracle to bring me healing. That’s a story for another time!

Sue


I’m Auntie Sue! I love animals and have a lot of pets all around my house, including a chicken! I love spending time with my nephew G and seeing all kinds of miracles happen. Look for me in The Big God Books. 

Cocoa


Cocoa is the family puppy who shows up throughout the Big God Books! He likes treats and running outside!

Storekeeper


My name is Ben and my store has been in my family for generations! I took it over from my father who took it over from his father! It’s changed a lot over the years, but one thing has stayed the same: we always choose to be generous!

Grandpa G


I'm Grandpa Gilbert! G for short. I've seen a lot of miracles in my life, too and I can't wait to share them with you! Cooking in the kitchen is what I love to do!

Whiskers


She is the family cat! Look for her throughout The Big God Books! She likes joining family movie nights and taking naps!

Fluffy


I'm Auntie Sue's favorite cat. We do everything together, and it's my favorite. Look for me in The Big God Books!
